Memorial Regional Hospital

What started in 1953 as a small hospital in a residential neighborhood in Hollywood, has grown into one of the largest and most well-respected hospitals in the state of Florida. This hospital has one of only two Trauma Centers in Broward County. Services: cardiac and vascular care, cancer center, bariatric surgery, neuroscience, behavioral health, sickle cell care, women's services and maternity, detox, nephrology, opthamology, rheumatology, brain and spinal cord injury.

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, the leading children’s hospital in Broward and Palm Beach, was moved to a state-of-the-art stand-alone facility in early 2012.

Broward Health Medical Center

The Broward Health System includes more than 30 healthcare facilities. The flagship hospital, Broward Health Medical Center (BHMC), was established in 1938. It offers one of Broward County’s two Trauma Centers. Services: Stroke Center, Heart Center, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Joint Replacement Center, Orthopedic Sports Medicine Center, Sleep Disorders Center, Wellness Center.

Chris Everett Children’s Hospital is located on the Broward Health Medical Center campus. Pediatric services: allergy/immunology, cardiology, dentistry, endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, neonatal care, nephrology, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology and surgery.
